Industrial and energy pest control certification
Oil and gas facilities, industrial complexes, offshore platforms and rig sites. Permit-to-work systems, Aramco SAEP compliance, hazardous area restrictions and contractor coordination.
A premium track from PVS Academy, the training arm of Precision Vector Solutions, designed by Juan M Rodriguez, Board Certified Entomologist.
On an industrial site, the pest control visit is a permitted job like any other
Refineries, petrochemical plants and offshore platforms run on permits, inductions and hazardous area rules. A technician who does not know them cannot get through the gate, and a product that is not on the approved list cannot be used, however well it works.
This track covers permit-to-work and Aramco SAEP and HSE requirements for pest control contractors, programme design across large footprints, offshore and rig camp work, and the logs and close-out reports HSE audits ask for.
Who takes this track
- Technicians working on oil, gas and petrochemical sites
- Supervisors running contracts on industrial complexes and camps
- Contractors preparing for Aramco and HSE onboarding
Seven modules, from permits to close-out reports

Certified Industrial Pest Management Technician
Awarded on completion of the track. The certificate renews every two years and carries 4 CEU.
It also counts toward the wider PVS certification ladder: the Foundation Certificate plus any four tracks leads to the PVS Certified Professional Field Technician designation. See the full certification ladder, or the critical environments track and bird management track.
